About Jeff Figler
HOFN.com collectibles editor, Jeff Figler, is a world-renowned collector, specializing in sports, presidential/historical and pop culture memorabilia. He has been an avid collector ever since his mother, Millie, kept all of his baseball cards and comic books from when he was growing up in St. Louis.
He has hosted a radio show “Collecting With Jeff”, and has been a regular guest on stations across the United States, including KMOX is St. Louis and ULBJ in Austin. In addition, he has written over 200 published articles on collecting. He and his wife Linda opened the Figler Museum in San Diego in 2004, which is open to the public by appointment. It is part of the Figler Foundation, a non-profit philanthropic organization.
Figler is also the author of Poway: Images of America, the story of the roaming grounds of the Diegueno and Luiseno Indians, several hundred years before the appearance of the Spaniards, the place that he and wife Linda now call home.
He lives vicariously through his son, Nate, who is a hard working employee of the NFL’s St. Louis Rams.
